We buy property in Latvia

This page is for owners and heirs who live outside Latvia and want to sell property here.

We buy land, forest, rural homesteads, houses, apartments and waterfront properties (rivers, lakes, the sea) anywhere in Latvia.

If your offer suits us, we can pay on the same day. That is the day we receive the signed contract and the documents. Bank transfer only.

How it works

  1. Send the cadastral number or address, your phone number and the price you want.
  2. We check the Land Register, the cadastre and encumbrances in 1–2 working days.
  3. We call you with a price or a refusal. If we refuse, we give the reason.

Sending the form does not oblige you to sell.

Documents

  • Land Register printout (zemesgrāmatas nodalījuma izdruka).
  • Cadastre printout (kadastra izdruka).
  • Your identity document.
  • Certificate of inheritance (mantojuma apliecība) or power of attorney, if either applies.

If another person signs for you in Latvia, that person needs a power of attorney.

We pay only to a bank account held by the seller.

What we do not buy

  • Property not entered in the Land Register.
  • A share in jointly owned property without the other owners' consent.
  • Property with an unsettled inheritance.
  • Buildings on someone else's land.
  • Property outside Latvia.
  • Lease rights.

Send your property

Include the country code in your phone number.

One of the two is enough. A cadastral number has 11 digits.

We call this number in 1–2 working days. Include the country code.

The amount in euros you want for the property.

If you are not the owner, tell us so on the phone.

SIA INVESTUM processes your data to assess the property and to call you. If no sale follows, we delete the data after 12 months. Privacy policy (in Latvian).
